Abstract
We extend further the results of Yang and Geraniotis (see IEEE JSAC, p.654-664, May 1994, and European Transactions on Telecommunications and Related Technologies (ETT), p.85-96, Jan.-Feb. 1995) to (packet radio) CDMA networks with truly multi-rate multi-media traffic. Voice, high and low priority data, and possibly videophone traffic all use DS/CDMA modulation but with different information (data) rates.
