Each spring, a chapel service is devoted to honoring those faculty members who have been promoted, received tenure, or completed their doctorates. Several awards are also announced: The Allen Monroe Integration of Faith and Learning Award, Cedarville University Service Awards, the Faculty Teaching Effectiveness Award, the Faculty Innovator of the Year Award, the Faculty Advising Award, the Faculty Collaboration Award, and the Faculty Scholar of the Year Award. Faculty members who are retiring at the end of the academic year are also honored.
