Laundry Day tells the tale of two badger brothers looking to cure their boredom. They decide to help their mother with hanging laundry on the clothing line, but that is just the beginning. They run out of clothes and begin hanging up everything in the house they can find while Mother is away. This story’s lightheartedness is well defined by the light, simple strokes of watercolor illustrations, and the end punishment of the brothers warns children against taking activities to extreme measures.

Optional. Tesla Klinger, Centennial Library Intern, Cedarville University
