Chu is a panda whose sneezes wreak havoc to those around him. When his parents’ suspect him of sneezing, he does not; but when they are focused on something else, Chu sneezes and blows away the circus, the dishes in the diner, and the books in the library. The illustrations are extremely colorful and imaginative, no doubt capturing the attention of any reader, young or old. The story itself, however, requires higher levels of interpretative skills and thus will likely prove unattainable for some children who will nonetheless enjoy the book for the consistently vivid pictures inside.
