Notes on 1870 by Rankin MacMillan in 1969
This was a very dry spring - “driest on record.”
Fred MacMillan (2nd child) born Thursday, May 19th between 4 and 5 p.m.
Finally, a good rain on June 1st, then plenty of rain during June and July.
First snow on Nov. 22. Had been a good open Fall up to this time.
