Abstract

Three Cedarville University School of Pharmacy students will serve employees at Meijer in Tipp City, Ohio, by conducting preventative health screenings on February 17 and 25.

Tiffany Zehel, from Parma, Ohio; Chelsae Heinz, from Redford, Michigan; and Mallory Thompson, from Xenia, Ohio will be conducting the health screenings as a part of their service project requirements for graduation.

Health screenings provide early detection of diseases that might have otherwise gone undiscovered. Screen tests check for multiple types of cancer, diabetes, high blood pressure or cholesterol and osteoporosis.
