Dr. Murdoch serves as Senior Professor of History. He was the men's tennis coach at Cedarville College from 1965 to 1994 and still enjoys participating in the sport. He is the Chairman of the Men's National Tournament Committee and a member of the Board of Directors of the Intercollegiate Tennis Association. Dr. Murdoch is the Senior Pastor of Westerville Grace Baptist Church. Professor Murdoch received his Ph.D. from Northwestern University in 1971 and has been at Cedarville since 1965.

Recently honored for 45 years of faithful service to the University, Dr. J. Murray Murdoch sat down with Dr. Bill Brown for an uplifting and challenging interview. Over the course of his tenure, this professor with a "pastor's heart" has served professionally, intentionally, and prepared thousands of students for the call God has placed on their lives.
