Dr. Charles C. Ryrie presently serves as the Professor of Systematic Theology at the Dallas Theological Seminary. His instruction at that institution covers two periods: 1953-58 and 1962-80. He has also been the President of the Philadelphia College of Bible (1958-62).

Dr. Ryrie took his undergraduate work at Haverford College (A.B.) and his seminary education at Dallas Theological Seminary (Th.M.). He has earned two doctorates: Th.D. from DTS (1949) and Ph.D. from the University of Edinburgh (1954).

His publications have been numerous and influential. Included among them are the Ryrie Study Bible, A Survey of Bible Doctrine, Balancing the Christian Life, The Basis of Premillennial Faith, The Bible and Tomorrow's News, Biblical Theology of the New Testament, Dispensationalism Today, and The Role of Women in the Church.
