Howard G. Hendricks has been on the faculty of Dallas Theological Seminary since 1951. He presently holds the position of Professor-at-large and serves as the Chairman of the Center for Christian Leadership.

He also serves on the boards of these organizations: Christian Financial Management; Leadership Dynamics, Inc.; The Navigators; Search Ministries; and Walk Thru the Bible Ministries.

He has also served as a pastor, Christian Education director, and youth director in several churches. He has ministered in over 70 countries around the world, holding conferences on church education, teacher training, and the Christian home. During 1976-84, he was the Bible teacher and chaplain for the Dallas Cowboys.

He has authored many books, including these titles: Confrontation, Conflict, and Crisis; Say It with Love; Heaven Help the Home; Families Go Better with Love; Marriage and the Family; Church Management Manual; Taking a Stand; and Teaching to Change Lives. Along with his wife, Jeanne, he has co-authored Footprints: Walking through the Passages of Life.

He is featured in these films: "The Christian Home #1: Problems and Priorities;" "The Christian Home #2: Discipline in the Christian Home;" and "Help, Our Family is Unraveling.'' He is the founding teacher of the radio program, "The Art of Family Living," heard on over 160 stations across the United States.
