Welcome to the Clinical Ethics and Conscience Rights Conference, taking place June 6-8, 2019, at Cedarville University. Please click Register Now in the sidebar to register for the conference or Submit Abstract to submit an abstract. Authors of abstracts that are accepted for the conference will be expected to return to this website to submit the final versions of their papers.

Scholars and practitioners from the fields of philosophy, political science, nursing, medicine, pharmacy, and law are invited to join us as we examine proposed rules that would protect the rights of health care workers who have religious or moral objections to medications, treatments, or procedures.

The Keynote address will be given by Robert George, McCormick Professor of Jurisprudence and Director of the James Madison Program in American Ideals and Institutions at Princeton University.

Selected conference papers will be published in Ethics, Medicine, and Public Health, the journal of the International Academy of Medical Ethics. Other selected papers will be published as conference proceedings on this website.

Thank you for your interest in the Clinical Ethics and Conscience Rights Conference.
