Close Reading Illustrated

In this interactive session, participants explore ways to introduce students to the construction of illustrations through the creation of visual texts using colored geometric shapes of varying sizes. Also explored are ways to implement this activity with various genre and cultural implications of color and shape in non-Western cultures.
