As of 2023-24, two awards are given, one each to a faculty member with 1-6 and 7+ years of service. Prior to this, three awards were given for 1-10, 11-20, and 21+ years of service. Recipients are selected by the Academic Leadership Group based on the following criteria:
- Student Evaluations
- Department Chair and peer recommendations
- Performance of students in subsequent classes or after graduation
- Use of instructional technology
- Use of effective Pedagogical techniques
