Attig Family Bible
This is the family Bible of George Louis and Dorinda Ross Attig of Cincinnati, Ohio, who were married in 1883. The genealogical information in this Bible lists the names and birth dates of George and Dorinda, those of their children, and the death date of one child. It also includes a record of George Attig's membership in the 6th Presbyterian Church of Cincinnati, as well as a temperance pledge signed by each member of the family.

This Bible appears to have originally belonged to Margaret Louisa Small Iliff, the wife of William Henry Iliff, of Greene County, Ohio. The deaths that are recorded in the Bible are those of the children of William and Margaret. The Bible was presented to the Cedarville College Library by P.J. McCorkell, son of Sarah Iliff McCorkell and grandson of Margaret Small Iliff. The page that would have recorded births was removed from the Bible prior to its being received by Cedarville College.
