This cool cat needs to get some sleep after a fun day of surf and sun. Pete’s group of friends come over to hang out and continue the fun. Once the night goes on they decide it is time to catch some zzz’s. Pete the cat is all ready, and when he finally nods off he is rudely awakened. Even though Pete wants some sleep his friends want to have more fun. Pete comes up with a plan and reads to his friends. After a while his friends are out. Young readers will enjoy the rhyming and the groovy talk of each character. The book also comes with a door hanger to for children to say ‘do not disturb’ or come on in.
Highly Recommended. Jordan Oldham, Cedarville University, Centennial Library Intern
