What’s the time, Mr. Wolf? Is it time to go to work? Time for a nap? Time for lunch? And will anyone remember that it’s time for Mr. Wolf’s birthday? This delightfully illustrated story features a whole cast of fairy-tale characters going about their day while subtly teaching children how to tell time with little clocks hidden in the pictures. Minor concerns include an instance of prank-calling and a surprise party. Children will enjoy recognizing their favorite characters throughout the story; parents and teachers will appreciate the chance to teach clock skills and a little bit of time management. Recommended. Emily Hartman, Centennial Library Intern.
