Abstract

An historic display of the life of Martha McMillian, a resident of Cedarville who was born in 1844, is currently available for the community to see at Cedarville University’s Centennial Library through May 2. The display is open to the public and there is no admission fee.

McMillan lived in Cedarville and was faithful in recording events of her life through journaling. These journals, donated to Cedarville University by her grandson more than 30 years ago, were reviewed by students in the American Women Writers class this year, with some of the journals transcribed by the students.
