Grant Funds Pharmacy Interprofessional Care Research

Abstract

There are many different roles on a medical team. Patient care requires nurses, doctors and pharmacists alike. Despite differing areas of expertise, they oftentimes need to work together to best serve a patient.

Understanding the importance of incorporating this model of health care, two Cedarville University School of Pharmacy professors have been awarded a research grant to further research interprofessional medical education methods.
