Abstract

Cedarville University has received a $5,000 grant from the Robert A. Stranahan Jr. Charitable Advised Fund of the Toledo Community Foundation. The grant will provide scholarships for students through the Cedarville Fund. “This award enables the university to increase both recruitment and retention by lowering the cost of tuition,” said Patricia Bennett, Director of Grants and Corporate and Foundation Relations.

The Robert A. Stranahan, Jr. Charitable Advised Fund supports many programs besides education, including social services, physical and mental health, neighborhood and urban affairs, natural resources and the arts. Cedarville has maintained a successful donor relationship with the R.A. Stranahan, Jr. Charitable Trust since 1979.
