Abstract

Math Circle, a 14-week program designed to strengthen math skills for fifth- and sixth- grade students, will begin Tuesday, Sept. 2 at Cedarville University’s Engineering and Science Center. There is no cost to enroll in the program, but space is limited to 12 students. Classes are from 3:30-5 p.m. each Tuesday.

Working with professors from Cedarville’s department of science and mathematics, students will solve math problems, play math games, and talk about unique math ideas. Rather than a tutoring program, this class is designed to encourage young students and strengthen their math skills.
