Proposal
I was awarded a VPA grant for the 2019-2020 academic year and am proposing sharing my research at the symposium. My work serves a purpose. My studio is a place where I navigate contemporary happenings as well as faith issues. I navigate using my faith. My work truly does engage for Christ. I want my art to make me aware of what Christ wants me to be aware of. This piece does this. It also invites the viewer to contemplate these ideas with the hopes that the concepts inject emotion and possibly even change in my viewer.
