Steven Winteregg, who earned his D.M.A. degree from the Ohio State University in 1987, served as a professor of music composition at Cedarville University. He also served as a department chair, a school dean, and as associate academic vice president of the former College of Arts and Sciences. Prior to coming to Cedarville University in 2004, he served on the faculty of Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio. Dr. Winteregg retired from Cedarville University in 2018. He is an award-winning composer with many of his compositions performed by orchestras and choral groups around the world. He has also performed as principal tuba in the Dayton (Ohio) Philharmonic Orchestra.
