Description

This piece is a literal representation of the four seasons as seen in nature. The three-dimensional material across the bottom of the piece invokes a sense of movement--the constant push and pull of the seasonal changes. This piece brings to mind the idea of changing throughout life, while at the same time remaining the same.

Contributor's Note

Christa Cape, a native of New Hampshire, is inspired by her many experiences of outdoor activities. Growing up in the woods and mountains instilled in her a love of nature. Her artwork is taken from lessons she's learned from nature--the turning of the seasons in particular and how these lessons are applied to human experiences.
