Contributor's Note
This poem is a reflection of humanity’s rebellion against God and inclination toward temptation. I address planet Earth as a willful, out-of-control child that is attempting to ignore its Creator. Though the planet longs for autonomy and its own selfish desires, Earth's rebellion will lead to its own destruction and God’s sovereign judgment.
