Contributor's Note
When I was undergoing treatment for cancer, my dad, the scientist that he is, briefly researched the development of chemotherapy drugs and found that some had developed from chemical warfare agents. That fact has been in the back of my mind for some time, and I began reflecting on how true it is that God uses what was meant for harm for good. I hope to convey in this piece the sovereignty of God even when we do not understand what is happening. Though sometimes he reveals glimpses of his plan, we can only truly know that he is our hope and that he will restore the broken world; we simply must wait and rely on him.
