Contributor's Note

Christopher Allen Rice is a junior electrical engineering major. His photo "Downcast" was "taken on a longer path to Mt. Rushmore. The fog was so thick the day this photo was taken that the sculpture itself was not visible." His photo "Growth Awry" was "taken in the Grand Tetons in Paintbrush Canyon. This tree was the only one found in Lower Paintbrush." Of the photo "Ember Escapes" he said, "The cold weather and mild winds made the glowing embers easy to catch over a long shutter speed."
