Center for Bioethics
Upholding Human Dignity and the Sanctity of Life
The mission of the Center for Bioethics, which ceased operation in 2019, was to engage the ethical issues arising out of advances in the life sciences and health professions. The Center maintained a Christian perspective on human personalism while promoting interdisciplinary scholarship on the philosophical, theological, and practical ramifications of bioethical research. In addition, the Center sought to translate these findings for the benefit of the Church, the health professions, and the community at large.
