Abstract
This book review attempts to celebrate and encourage Christian educators to use more diverse books in their middle school classrooms in order to reach all students made in the image of God and especially those students who may not often see themselves in classroom literature. This book review seeks to highlight a book in particular that achieves this goal. This book is no other than “Isaiah Dunn Saves the Day Hardcover” by Kelly J. Baptist. Moreover, this book is filled with substantial gospel-centered teaching moments and conversations that can be held during class discussions or instruction. I would also use this book to spark higher-level learning questions and conversations in a middle school classroom. Overall, I am well pleased with this book and would highly recommend this book to be used in any middle school English Language Arts classroom.
