Dr. Firmin has served as a full-time psychology faculty member since 1988. He serves as Editor for the Journal of Ethnographic and Qualitative Research (JEQR) and directs the Ethnographic and Qualitative Research Conference (EQRC), now in its 25th year. Dr. Firmin has published over 80 articles in peer-reviewed journals and has presented over 150 papers in national, juried research conferences. He has a part-time private practice in forensic and clinical psychology. Dr. Firmin is an award-winning classroom instructor and serves as a peer-reviewer on accreditation site team visits for North Central Association’s Higher Learning Commission.
