About This Collection

The essays in this collection were chosen by the composition faculty of the Department of English, Literature, and Modern Languages at Cedarville University to serve as models of good freshman writing for students in current composition classes. While the essays may not be perfect or specifically edited for publication, they are exemplars of the various essay genres our composition faculty assign.
