The book explains what a girl narrator does when she is alone. But when she is around other people she tones herself down. Pictures artistically show her in motion by herself and in slower motion, if not stopped, around others. The book’s friendship theme is best shown when her best friend is introduced. They just act like themselves. What else are best friends for? A very simple read for young readers with a deep friendship lesson.
Highly Recommended Rebekkah Reisner, Centennial Library Intern, Cedarville University
