A man opens his front door one day to find a strange, little skunk waiting for him. The skunk follows him down the street, through town, through an opera house, the cemetery, and even a Ferris wheel. The man wonders whether the skunk will ever go away. In the end, the story takes a creative twist. Author Mac Barnett shares imagination and humor that is clever and delightful. The artist Patrick McDonnell creates fun character personalities with his facial expressions and body language. Highly Recommended. Laura Ullom, Centennial Library Intern, Centennial Library
