A little boy goes out for a fun day in the snow. The author’s writing is very descriptive and draws readers into a beautiful winter world full of sounds, textures, sights, and tastes. Some of the artwork requires more effort to enjoy because there are so many different colors and thick lines to look at. However, the whites, grays, and blues in the images give a good sense of the chilled air outside. Recommended. Laura Ullom, Centennial Library Intern, Centennial Library
