The tragic demise of Humpty Dumpty has been ingrained in the minds of youth for generations. But do you know what happened after he fell? In this tale, the bandage-wrapped Humpty becomes afraid of heights. He misses seeing the city and watching the birds. But he’s too scared to climb up the ladder. What if he falls again? This delightful take on the popular nursery rhyme encourages children to face their fears and to not give up when they make mistakes. This brightly colored story offers great life lessons and nostalgia. Any library would benefit from adding this tale to their collection.
Highly Recommended. RaeAnn Jent, Centennial Library Intern
