This book is about Frida Kahlo the famous female Mexican artist. It was interesting to read about Kahlo’s struggles and hardships. The illustrations are colorful and creative. Frida Kahlo and Her Animalitos inspires readers to be creative and unique. The story is well-written and should be considered to be a part of a library’s picture book collection to help educate children on who Frida Kahlo was. Recommended. Lydia Jacobsen, Centennial Library Intern, Cedarville University
