This book tells the tale of two paper mice, adventuring alone at night in the big, dark house. While both mice love exploring on their own, it is clear that a second pair of paws would make the nighttime shenanigans so much more enjoyable. The mice are united and instantly fall into a beautiful friendship that was meant to be. The lyrical words of the work combined with detailed drawings make for an overall delightful experience. This book may give an introduction to poetic language. Its illustrations provide a thoroughly engaging world for the paper mice (and readers) to explore. Recommended, Anna Jennings, Centennial Library Intern, Cedarville University
