We are the Gardeners follows a family’s experiences with gardening and the life lessons learned therein. Through setbacks and triumphs, the gardeners learn the reward of hard work and the importance of perseverance. Joanna Gaines’s delightful picture book would be ideal for a springtime or garden themed library story time. Additionally, it would be thoroughly enjoyed by children and families who are interested in starting a garden. Recommended Jacy Stahlhut, Centennial Library Intern, Cedarville University
