Review
In Give Me Back My Bones a skeletal pirate needs help locating his bones. Through the lyrical writing he explains the use of each bone as he puts himself back together. The story provides a fun read through the rhyming and rhythm of the skeleton explaining each part of his body in a cool pirate theme. The illustrations only contribute to the amusing story finding each part of his body next to a new sea creature. Teachers will have a great opportunity of using this book to help teach anatomy to their students, who will sing the song as they sit through class. Recommended Sarah Trigg, Centennial Library Intern, Cedarville University.
