Review
Uncle Flood has a new pen, but it won’t write what he wants! The obstinate pen writes what it wants and won’t let anyone write anything they want. It insults everyone who tries to use it, until Horace picks it up. The illustrations are whimsical and fit the style of the book. Although the book is amusing and fun, there doesn’t seem to be a moral or point to the story. Kids who enjoy quirky drawings or stories would like this book. Additional selection.
