Description
This fox died an hour after taking this picture. On his leg you can see the sheen of a fly, and his eyes are closed -- maybe his way of accepting death. My niece found him dragging himself along the bottom of the creek bed, trying to keep warm. When we looked, we saw that his back legs were crushed.
