Fred Marshall Collection

 

Fred Marshall, born in Cedarville, Ohio, in 1891, attended both Cedarville College (now University) and the Ohio State University where he specialized in journalism and engineering. Marshall was attached to the Signal Corps in World War I, then returned to Dayton to work at McCook Field where he was editor of the aviation trade journal and devoted his time to writing articles about the local history of the Yellow Springs-Clifton-Cedarville area of Ohio.
