Comments
From June 29, 1899, through July 26, 1899, Martha McMillan and Mary Murdock traveled to Lyons, Indiana, to visit relatives. Martha's daughter, Clara, kept the journal while Martha was gone. Martha also kept a journal of the trip, which she added to the back of this journal. While they were in Lyons, they attended a Women's Christian Temperance Union meeting. Also included at the back of this journal is the text of the address that Martha was asked to give at the W.C.T.U. meeting on July 25, 1899.
