The Ohio Independent Baptist was the name of the newsletter of the Ohio Association of Regular Baptist Churches from 1929 through 2003. From its inception in 1927 until July 1927, it was known as The Hornet, then as Bible Union Baptist until the fall of 1928. When the Ohio Association of Regular Baptist Churches was formed in 1928, it adopted the Bible Union Baptist as its official newsletter and changed the name to The Ohio Independent Baptist. In 2004 it was renamed The Link. This archive contains those newsletters dating from 1953-2003, the years that cover the presidencies of Dr. James T. Jeremiah and Dr. Paul H. Dixon at Cedarville College and University. It was during those years that the newsletters contained frequent articles about and references to the university, and therefore those newsletters are of important historical value to the institution.
