Professor DiCuirci came to Cedarville University in 1979 after an eight-year career teaching in schools in New York and Michigan. He led the effort to develop several excellent bands at Cedarville, with the Jazz Band, Symphonic Band, and Pep Band receiving national notice and acclaim. He also taught several of the key music education courses and worked with student interns. As a trombone/euphonium artist, Professor DiCuirci has performed with a wide variety of stellar ensembles and stays active as a professional musician. He was ordained as a minister in 1992 and has served as an associate pastor in several churches. Professor DiCuirci retired in 2016, and at the time of this interview he was Senior Professor Emeritus of Music.
