This Dead Sea Scroll fragment 4Q5 contains portions of Isaiah 22:10-14 and Isaiah 23:8 - 24:15. This section is important in mentioning the great building works performed by Hezekiah in the wake of the Assyrian conquest in the 8th century BC, evidence of which has been discovered in Jerusalem’s Old City and the City of David. The scroll dates to the first half of the 1st century AD.
