Dr. Victor M. Matthews presently serves as the Professor of Systematic Theology and Apologetics at the Grand Rapids Baptist Seminary. He has been a faculty member of that institution since 1951.
Dr. Matthews has extensive educational background. He is a graduate of the Simpson Bible Institute and holds degrees from Calvin College (A.B.), Grand Rapids Baptist Seminary (B.D.), and Calvin Seminary (Th.M.). He received his doctorate from the Lutheran Theological Seminary of Chicago (S.T.D.). In addition, he has served as a pastor for seven years.
Dr. Matthews is also a member of the Evangelical Theological Society. He is the author of one book Growth in Grace.
