Craig Blaising, Ph.D., serves as executive vice president, provost and professor of theology at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas.
Blaising has been at SWBTS since 2004 and has authored numerous books and journal articles on dispensationalism and end times prophecy. Prior to his tenure at SWBTS, he was on the faculty at Dallas Theological Seminary (1980-95) and the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (1996-2001).
Blaising is a research fellow at the Southern Baptist Convention’s Ethics and Religious Liberties Commission and was named as a “Who’s Who in America" in 2000. He earned his bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. In addition, Blaising obtained his master’s and doctorate degrees from Dallas Theological Seminary, and earned an additional Ph.D. from the University of Aberdeen in Scotland.
