1905 Journal

Download PDF (42.7 MB)

The journal was kept by Paul McMillan from June 7, 1905, through July, 9, 1905, while James and Martha traveled to Iowa, Missouri, and Illinois. Martha began writing in the journal again on July 9. She kept a separate journal while they were away, dated from June 6 through July 8, and that journal has been inserted at the back of the 1905 journal.

The images in the PDF and the interactive book (the Read Online button to the left) were resized to compile more manageable documents. Even so, the PDFs are large files and therefore may take some time to download. For quicker viewing, click the Read Online button.
