Iliffe Family Bible
This Bible appears to have originally belonged to Margaret Louisa Small Iliff, the wife of William Henry Iliff, of Greene County, Ohio. The deaths that are recorded in the Bible are those of the children of William and Margaret. The Bible was presented to the Cedarville College Library by P.J. McCorkell, son of Sarah Iliff McCorkell and grandson of Margaret Small Iliff. The page that would have recorded births was removed from the Bible prior to its being received by Cedarville College.

The text of this family Bible is in Welsh. The genealogical information in the Bible lists the names and birth dates of the children of William and Mary Butler Lewis, who were married in Merthyr Tydfil, Glamorganshire, Wales, on April 28, 1855. The family appears to have emigrated to Belmont County, Ohio, in the early 1870s. The genealogical records also include the marriage of the eldest child, Jane, to Enoch Reese and the dates of the deaths of William and Mary Lewis.
