This appears to be the family Bible of David Millen (1813-1889) of Greene County, Ohio. He was the son of John and Martha Moffatt Millen, and his birth is also recorded in their family Bible. David was married twice, first to Margaret McMillan and, after her death in 1841, to Mary Stewart.

Millen Family Bible
This appears to be the family Bible of John (c1776-1844) and Martha Moffatt/Moffitt (c1777-1837) Millen of Chester County, South Carolina. At least four of their children, Margaret, David, Samuel, and Eli, moved to Greene County, Ohio. Margaret was married to James Chestnut McMillan, whose family also moved from South Carolina to Greene County. The genealogical information in the Bible lists the birth dates of the children of John and Martha.

Ramsey Family Bible
This is the family Bible of Nathan Lackey Ramsey (1856-1943). Born in Preble County, Ohio, Nathan's family moved to Cedarville, Ohio, by the time of the 1880 census, and Nathan appears to have lived there for the rest of his life. Several of his children attended Cedarville College.

Sever(s) Family Bible
This is the family Bible of Gideon and Mary Mark Sever, who were married in Fayette County, Ohio, on July 20, 1848. The surname is spelled both Sever and Severs on the family record pages of the Bible, and some of the entries are repeated. Gideon worked as a railroad conductor, and the family lived in Fayette, Ross, and Highland Counties, Ohio, at various times.

Sternberger Family Bible
This is the family Bible of Morris Lee and Eva May Dungan Sternberger of Jackson County, Ohio. Morris Sternberger died in 1912, and in 1917, during World War I, his surviving family changed their name to Stephenson, the maiden name of Morris's mother, stating in court records that "...although they are all native-born Americans, their German name causes them to be misunderstood in their desire to assist their country..."
