Professor Klimek has worked in rehabilitation nursing, cardiac care, surgical intensive care, medical intensive care, neurological intensive care, and psychiatric inpatient care. He has taught at Youngstown State University and Wayne State University as well as Cedarville University. He currently teaches fundamentals courses in the freshman and sophomore years. He is chair of the curriculum committee for the Baccalaureate division.
